ONLINE MARKETING SPECIALIST TO SPEAK AT IRISH MEDICAL DEVICES WORKSHOP
Ireland, 01 Dec 2009
Local and international Medical Devices firms will learn how to boost their revenue using digital marketing in a seminar being held in Galway this month. Hosted by the Irish Medical Devices Association, the seminar will be delivered by Michael White, founder of DohertyWhite, a Digital Marketing and PR firm, and also Principal Associate at Bayberry, a strategic consulting firm focused on driving growth at high technology firms. The two hour event will take place on Thursday 10th December at 10.00am at the offices of Caragh Precision, Parkmore West Business Park, Galway.
Digital Marketing has emerged as a key weapon for business-to-business (B2B) technology firms in their drive to build demand and awareness. Michael will describe how technology companies can drive rapid increases in their sales lead generation and revenue. During the seminar he will show how using corporate web-sites, Google pay-per-click ads, Search Engine Optimization (SEO) and email marketing in an integrated manner can successfully generate quality leads and deliver sales growth. The seminar will outline processes you can use to prioritise and process sales leads more effectively in order to convert more of them to customers and increase revenue. Michael will also describe some innovative recent uses of online PR and social media such as Twitter, LinkedIn and Facebook and discuss their application for business-to-business technology companies.
"There has been huge interest from our members in Digital Marketing", said Sinead Keogh, Senior Executive at the Irish Medical Devises Association. "The digital revolution is transforming the role of public relations in B2B marketing. A significant number of Med Tech companies in Ireland are currently operating in the B2B space. These companies have recognised the potential to optimise engagement with their customers through digital marketing. We are delighted to be working with Michael White and his colleagues at Bayberry to deliver this important workshop."
The seminar marks the introduction of the joint DohertyWhite/Bayberry demand generation offering for the Medical Devices Sector. The partnership provides thought leadership on the subjects of Digital Marketing, Sales Enablement and Product Management. Their new combined offering will help suppliers of medical devices to sell more effectively into complex B2B markets through integrated marketing. Michael will be joined at the workshop by Bayberry founder and director Simon Rogals.
